About me
Daniel is a Venezuelan-Canadian filmmaker, analog photographer, and music composer, as well as a marketing and communications professional with over seven years of experience. He grew up in Caracas, Venezuela, and moved to Montreal, Canada, at eighteen to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Studies and Electroacoustics, with a minor in Music, at Concordia University.
His artistic practice explores the concept of belonging through the act of documenting landscapes and architecture. Having lived in Montreal and Thunder Bay, he now calls Treaty 1 Territory / Winnipeg home.
His marketing practice is built on a rare combination of creative training, technical fluency (HTML, Excel/Google Data Studio, UX/UI design), and client management experience — including two years as an account manager for e-commerce clients. This foundation allows him to develop marketing and communications strategies that are as functional as they are compelling, with the technical rigour to ensure creative work performs. After several years focused on e-commerce, he has shifted his attention to marketing within higher education at the University of Manitoba.
